Costa Rica: Beer consumption on rise in 2005

In 2005 in Costa Rica it was consumed 300 million beers and 12 million litres of spirits with an average consumption per capita of 71 beers. Beer consumption doubled in December to 1.5 million litres of beer, compared to the average month.

Fanal, the country’s spirits producer announced that sales of beers represented around 300 million USD.
